New Track added of Lauren's rendition of the oldest Murder Ballad in the English Language

This morning we would like to share with you a tune from an artist we are all extremely proud of, the lovely, and talented Lauren Murphy Entertainer. "The Dreadful Wind and The Rain," a murder ballad, penned by an anonymous author, originates from fourteenth century England. The song tells the tale of two sisters, and their jealousy over a suitor. This is Lauren Murphy's take, which adds the twist of a haunting and unforgettable "Bridge" to the song, that was never present in any other version known to date. Lauren's version features Dave Zirbel on dobro, Johnny "Mojo" Flores on 1957 Supro Slide, Paul Olguin on stand up bass, Vince Littleton on percussion, and Lauren, herself, on Vocals, and Rhythm Guitar. Add the Production & Additional Arrangement by Mooka Rennick of Prairie Sun Studios, Cotati, Ca, and you have one of the most unique renditions of "The Dreadful Wind and The Rain." Now sit back, close your eyes, and let Lauren tell you a story. (Photo Courtesy of Chad EdwardsMCE Photography, Fairhope Al.)
