"This song came from a very deep place in my soul and was produced by the indomitable Molly Thomas, with production assistance from Rick Hirsch and Ken Rose. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, and that is true about Love and Addiction, and "My Most Deadly Sin". ~LM

Murphy explores a new Indie approach to her music with this single in the tradition of 'Portishead' and newer artists like 'Daughter'. (click read more under the graphic)

" This is a song nestled in one's soul. Brilliant would be an understatement; It's a lyrical Pulitzer Prize Winner, a time similar to other iconic bands or subsequent musicians who launched one song that would forever become the mantra that would always define. The Stones had 'Satisfaction', The Beatles had 'Yesterday', Aerosmith had 'Dream On', and you should have this masterpiece. It's more than a song; It's a revelation put to music". "Lansdale Station featuring Judge & Lauren Murphy" is the work by band leaders husband & wife duo , Judge and Lauren Murphy (primary composer). It earned the band International Airplay and the handle "the new San Francisco sound," by Critics and Dj's alike. The track "Family Asylum" won Nashville's Gary Allen's New Song of the Year, songwriting contest. It was a fantastic calling card from a band who only had the opportunity to make one record. The Judge passed in 2013.

Mixed, & Mastered at re-known Plant Studios, it spotlights the folk side of  Murphy's early career, while melding with the blue eyed soul of her late husband, The Judge. This record would be the catalyst that formed their band "Lansdale Station." It features multi talented Keyboardist & slide guitarist Chip Roland(Doug Kershaw/Zero), Guitar virtuoso Robert Powell, Blues Big Boy Rich Kirch(John Lee Hooker), Bass Man Liam Hanrahan(Zero/Albert King), and Percussionist extraordinair John Hasty. 'Rooted' by Michael Millet

Through Louisiana Music Factory, Lauren's first collaborative effort w/ New Orleans artist, Michael Millet, is available for purchase. Recorded in 1994 & 1995, released in 2000, their precise harmonies are akin to Simon & Garfunkle & The Indigo Girls. Michael's folk roots shine in songs like "Sign's that Remind", "Looking for a Home", & "Weathered Tattered & Torn". Stripped down and real, the brief musical partnership of Millet & Murphy was fortunately captured by friend & engineer, Pete Lambousy. Buy @ Louisiana Music Factory
